Malnourished horses rescued from field
Three horses have been rescued from a field.
The RSPCA and emergency services were called to a field off Pylands Lane in Bursledon on Sunday, where they found the animals.
They had been alerted by a member of the public.
An RSPCA inspector, the fire service, police and a vet attended and found the horses malnourished and dehydrated.
One of the animals was put down on the advice of a vet. The other two are now in the care of the RSPCA.
