A VAN was left in a hedge after an early-morning collision on a Hampshire motorway.

Police were called to the northbound carriageway of the M3 at about 5.33am this morning where a white Renault van had left the road and crashed into bushes on the hard shoulder.

A Hampshire Constabulary spokesman said the vehicle was recovered from the area by 7.10am with help from the Highways Agency and there were no reported injuries.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact Hampshire Constabulary on 101.
