A HAMPSHIRE pensioner died after fracturing her pelvis in an attempt to get out of bed, an inquest heard.
Hester Moore, 90, was found dead on February 7 at her home in Charnwood Crescent, Chandler's Ford.
The retired secretary may have fallen in the night, hours before she was discovered by a concerned neighbour, Winchester Coroner's Court was told on Friday.
Recording a verdict of accidental death, senior central Hampshire coroner Grahame Short said the shock of the fall was likely to have been enough to kill her.
