Burglar disturbed by by homeowner
POLICE have released this e-fit of a man they want to speak to after an intruder was disturbed inside a Hampshire home.
A man working at his home in Chalice Court, Upper Northam Road, in Hedge End heard a creaking on the stairs and from his study.
He came out to find a man walking up the stairs towards him who had taken his shoes off at the door.
The homeowner challenged the man who claimed he was looking for another house.
He then ran from the house, taking his shoes with him.
Police want to hear from anyone who may recognise the man following the incident on November 6, between 1pm and 1.30pm.
