Masked ram-raiders made an audacious smash-and-grab raid at a bank.
Two men wearing ski-masks smashed a car into the front of HSBC in Hedge End before running inside stealing cash and boxes and driving off.
Officers say several staff inside the Lower Northam Road branch at the time were unharmed.
Police lat night launched an investigation and wereon the scene hunting for clues on Wednesday.
Now they have launched an urgent appeal for anyone who saw the raid to contact them immediately.
The silver Audi crashed into the building shortly before 5.30pm and sustained damage to its front.
A police spokesman said: “We are currently trying to find the vehicle.
“Two men wearing ski type masks and hi-vis vests went in and stole several boxes. It's believed they got away with an amount of cash. I can't confirm an amount yet.”
Witnesses should contact police on 101.
