MORE than a thousand properties near Eastleigh were left without electricity after a fault to the network caused a power cut.
SSEN engineers were called out at 11.10am yesterday to Hedge End.
Around 240 of the 1,160 houses affected were back on the network by 2pm.
An SSEN spokesperson said workmen hoped to have the remaining 924 homes back on the network by 6pm this evening.
