A HUNT has been launched for a man wanted in connection with a kidnapping in Hampshire.

Police have been carrying out "extensive enquiries" to find Rodney Traves since the incident in Eastleigh on January 19 and are asking the public for assistance.

Traves is 49 and described as being white, five feet eight inches tall, of proprtionate build, and has brown hair and blue eyes.

He has links to Southampton, Eastleigh and Bournemouth.

Anyone who has any information on his whereabouts is asked to not approach him and to contact Hampshire Constabulary on 101 or 999 in an emergency and quote reference number 44170024129.
