Long delays in Eastleigh due to week-long roadworks
Temporary traffic lights are causing long delays for drivers in Eastleigh today.
The lights are causing delays on all three approaches to the junction of Southampton Road and Derby Road.
Southbound traffic is queuing past Eastleigh train station onto Twyford Road, while northbound traffic is queuing back to Southampton Airport.
Other major roads in Eastleigh, including Leigh Road and Bishopstoke Road, also have heavy traffic.
The roadworks are being carried out by SGN and are due to last until Tuesday April 11.
