POLICE are investigating after a pedestrian was rushed to hospital following a car crash.
Officers rushed outside Eastleigh train station at around 9.30am on Tuesday after reports of a collision involving a Vauxhall Corsa and a pedestrian.
It is understood that the man has suffered injuries, but these are not believed to be life-threatening at this time.
The road was blocked and delays of up to 40 minutes in the area were being reported.
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesman said: "Officers were called to the incident at 9.33am this morning.
"The male pedestrian suffered serious injuries and has been taken to Southampton General Hospital.
"Anyone who witnessed the collision should call police on 101 quoting 44170265469."
