AN INVESTIGATION has been launched following a spate of night-time thefts from work vans in the Eastleigh borough.
This comes after reports of six crimes in Bishopstoke and Fair Oak between January 31 and February 3.
Vans parked in Sedgwick Road, Shears Road and Hamilton Road in Bishopstoke and in Itchen Avenue, Fair Oak were broken into.
Officers said several tools were stolen along with a portable radio.
Police have also confirmed that more vehicles in West Drive, Bishopstoke were targeted between January 29 and January 30.
Officers are now urging residents to be extra vigilant, fit a car alarm, get an immobiliser, remove valuables from their cars and use a steering wheel lock.
