VOLUNTEERS from Orvis UK and countryside campaigners teamed up to clear 76kg of litter from lanes near Eastleigh.
Used as a rat run, Kiln Lane and Bistopstoke Lane in Brambridge are frequently littered.
Orvis approached CPRE Hampshire to propose cleaning up the area.
Charlee Bennett, chief executive of CPRE Hampshire, said “Litter is a huge problem for the Hampshire countryside, especially in the areas close to larger settlements.
“We were delighted that Orvis approached, keen to get their team out collecting litter. Collecting 76kg in just a few hours was a great success.”
Tanya Thorne, from Orvis, said the firm was “pleased” to get involved.
