HAMPSHIRE motorists faced delays after a motorbike exploded in Fair Oak.
There were delays in both directions on Alan Dryton Way, Fair Oak Road and Eastleigh Road after a motorbike caught fire at around 5pm on Monday.
The incident happened in Fair Oak Road.
Hampshire Specials wrote on social media: "Fortunately rider was ok.
"As one driver was asking to get past the scene, the tank exploded."
A spokeswoman for Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service said the vehicle has been completely destroyed by the flames but no-one was injured in the incident.
The tweet of a motorist stuck in traffic reads: "Fair Oak is queuing from Horton Heath traffic lights into Eastleigh. I've moved 100 metres in 20 minutes."
