Darth Vader takes over Eastleigh

HIS black hood and mask and deep breathing has made him Hollywood’s most iconic villain.
Yet despite his evil deeds in Star Wars thousands of fans turned out to meet the real Darth Vader, aka Dave Prowse, when he descended on Eastleigh.
He brought a fleet of stormtroopers, Yoda, R2D2, 8ft wookiee Chewbacca as well as numerous treasures from the cult George Lucas blockbuster.
He was joined at the toy fair at Fleming Park Leisure Centre by other stars from the film including Eastleigh ewok Michael Henbury.
Michael said: “I was thrilled to be in the film and it has led to parts in Willow and other movies.
“This is the first convention I’ve been to and I just got involved because it was in my home town but I was amazed at the turnout and the costumes people are wearing.”

Beware these are the new uniforms of the Traffic Wardens. Before they issue a ticket ask them to remove there masks to make sure there the real deal. Hang on what does a real STORM TROOPER look like. Oh I mean a real Traffic Warden.......the city is doomed.....is the moon the DEATH STAR off to buy a telescope to check.

You see loads of people wearing hoods around Eastleigh and you can hear a lot of deep breathing if you stroll through Fleming Park at night

I was at Flemming Park that day. Place full of fat goths in black tee shirts who need to get out more. Their white faces and red eyes reminded me of the day they released the pit ponies from their years underground.
