Youngsters set to cook up a feast

YOUNGSTERS will be cooking up a storm as Toynbee School in Chandler’s Ford hosts a Food, Glorious Food hands-on cookery workshop as part of The Hampshire Food Festival.

It will give chef’s aged between eight and 11-years-old the chance to offer their parents home-cooked treats.

Home Economist Davina Tibbets, will lead the cooking from 10.30am to 12pm and 1.30pm to 3pm on Saturday. Tickets cost £10 per child. To book call Davina on 07850 406895.

A nice hopeful story to counter the one in ten obese children story. Learning home cooking is probably one of the most cost effective ways to improve health and reduce the cost of health care. Good Job!!

Chef - Head of the kitchen staff. How many actual 8 - 11 year old 'chefs' are there working in restaurants and kitchens I wonder?

Also note the use of an apostrophe for a plural. tsk tsk.
