Divorce led woman to commit suicide
A Hedge End woman killed herself over the breakdown of her marriage, an inquest heard.
Danielle Gregory, 30, was found hanged at her home in Barfoot Road, Hedge End, by her partner Stuart Chalk in March.
She had a long history of depression and had previously taken overdoses and self harmed.
The inquest heard she had argued with her partner after learning she would receive divorce papers from husband Paul Gregory.
The couple hosted a party on March 16, for Mr Chalk’s birthday where they had drunk alcohol and taken cocaine although not to excess.
Mr Chalk said he was trying to calm Danielle down after she got upset about the divorce.
He said: “She said she blamed me for the reason she and her husband were not together.
“I was trying to get her out of this little black hole she was in after her marriage broke down. I always thought she was happy with me.”
Mr Chalk left the house after the argument but returned shortly after and found Danielle around 4.30am.
She was taken by ambulance to Southampton General Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Coroner Grahame Short, recorded a verdict of suicide.

So she was just left to do it again and succeeded this time. How much do people need to scream HELP before they get it?
