A major sporting event in Hampshire is causing traffic jams.

Delays have been reported around junction eight of the M27 in both directions, as cricket fans head towards the Ageas Bowl.

England is taking on South Africa in a one-day international at the West End ground, starting at 1pm.

A park and ride facility has been set up at the Bursledon car boot sale site near Hamble Lane and traffic is queuing towards the car park.

A delay has also been reported on the A3024 westbound, between Bursledon and Windhover Roundabout.

Police say there have been no incidents in the area.
