A teenager has been rushed to hospital by air ambulance after a car accident in Eastleigh.
The 17-year-old boy collided with a red Ford Galaxy, driven by a 48-year-old woman from Chandler's Ford.
The accident happened near Eastleigh College at the junction of Derby Road and Southampton Road, Eastleigh just after 4pm.
Police say they have collected a bike from the scene but it is unclear if the youngster was riding it at the time of the crash.
There were road closures on Derby Road and Southampton Road while the air ambulance landed.
Officers say the teenager was conscious and breathing as he was put into the air ambulance, but had sustained a cut to his head.
He was taken to Southampton General Hospital at around 4.40pm and all the roads reopened at around 4.50pm.
