Majorettes celebrate 25th anniversary
THEY have had more than 20 years of routines and colourful costumes. And now the Locks Heath Silhouettes majorettes celebrated their 25th anniversary. The majorettes have members of all ages from three to over 21. Founder and choreographer of Locks Heath Silhouettes Lisa Downs said: “As long as there are girls – or boys – in this area wanting to learn to be majorettes, I’m going to keep on teaching them. We offer good exercise, a good laugh and good company.”
