A HAMPSHIRE syndicate has struck gold in the National Lottery.
The group of four colleagues from Portsmouth won £1.5m in last Saturday’s draw.
It comes shortly after car mechanic Neil Trotter became the UK’s fourth-highest lottery winner ever after scoring a £108m windfall on the Euromillions.
The win is also the second for a Portsmouth syndicate in the space of a few weeks after three sailing holiday company employees won £1m.
