GUNFIRE will echo through Hampshire this Sunday.
The Portsdown Artillery Volunteers will be firing a Victorian gun from Fort Nelson in Fareham as part of the Royal Armouries season of free gun firing demonstrations.
The uniformed volunteers will be firing the rifle muzzle-loading (RML) 64-pounder gun, which has a range of up to 4,000 yards (2.3 miles), at 11.30am, 1pm and 3pm.
Admission is free.
