EMERGENCY services were called in to talk a teenage girl down from the roof of a supermarket.
Police were called amid concerns for the welfare of a 17-year-old, who had climbed onto the roof of Tesco’s in Quay Street, Fareham.
Trained officers spoke to the girl after the alarm was raised just after 5pm on Wednesday and at 7.20pm the girl was talked down and jumped a short distance.
Paramedics took the girl to hospital as a precaution, but it is not believed she suffered any injuries.
