Thieves in £45,000 tool raid
THIEVES stole tools equipment more than £45,000 in two separate burglaries in Hampshire.
Members of the farming industry are being warned to be alert after the thefts in Warsash and Titchfield.
Chainsaws and wood chippers were taken from commercial premises in Greenaway Lane, Warsash, and Funtley Lane, Titchfield, at some time after 5.30pm on Tuesday.
Police are urging businesses and traders in the area to be careful and make sure their sites are secure.
Anyone with information on the incidents or who has been offered suspicious equipment for sale is asked to contact Fareham Police on 101.
