DOZENS of jobs are under threat in Hampshire after a high-street fashion retailer plunged into administration.
Bank Fashion, which operates 84 stores across the UK including outlets in the West Quay Shopping Centre in Southampton and Whiteley Village, has fallen into financial difficulties.
Deloitte has been appointed as administrator after the business, which employs more than 1,500 people in total, determined that a solvent turnaround would not be possible.
In a statement, Deloitte partner and joint administrator Bill Dawson said: “Bank has struggled in a highly competitive segment of the retail industry and has been loss-making for a number of years.”
