FIREFIGHTERS tackled a gorse fire in Hampshire.
The blaze happened at Browndown Ranges near Gosport and after the alarm was raised by a member of the public who could see plumes of smoke.
Two fire engines and more than 10 fire-fighters from Gosport Fire Station battled the flames with two hose reels.
It broke out at 8pm last night and the stop call was at 8.30pm.
