A MAN has been charged with attempted murder after the stabbing of two schoolboys.
The victims, aged 12 and 13, were attacked by a knifewielding man in Havant on Friday afternoon.
Hampshire Constabulary have this morning confirmed they have charged a 43-year-old man in relation to the offence.
Richard Michael Walsh, 43, will appear at Portsmouth Magistrates' Court tomorrow in connection with the attack.
Walsh, of no fixed abode, has been charged with two counts of attempted murder and one of assault.
He remains in custody.
The 13 year-old boy was taken to Southampton General Hospital with life-threatening injuries. His condition is now described as critical, but stable.
The 12 year-old boy who was initially taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital, at Cosham for treatment has now been moved to Southampton General Hospital.
His condition is still described as serious, but stable.
