BURGLARS have taken Second World War memorabilia from a Hampshire home.
The items - two paintings, collectable plates, books and matchbox vehicles - belonged to a 52-year-old woman and were taken from a house in Castle Street, Portchester.
A youth was spotted in the area acting suspiciously.
He was described as white, aged late teens to early 20s, 5ft 10ins tall, of medium build and wearing a baseball cap.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the burglary, which happened between 7am and 9am on Thursday .
