WE may be halfway through the summer holidays but there is still plenty to do in Hampshire this weekend.

The Aberdeen Asset Management Cowes Week comes to a close with a variety of on-shore entertainment and the final races.
A family fun day organised by Radian Group takes place in Totton faturing a bike track, a food competition and junk modelling.

A special wreath-laying ceremony takes place at the cenotaph in Watts Park to commemmorate the 70th anniversary of VJ Day, with Mayor of Southampton Linda Norris attending alongside veterans and other dignitaries.

The retail village is hosting a special arts market as part of its extended support of the Fareham Arts Festival. A selection of local artists will be displaying their talents throughout the shopping village giving local residents the chance to purchase their artwork.
- Vedic Society Hindu Temple, Radcliffe Rd, Southampton, 7.15pm-8.30pm, Saturday.

Local bands and singers will perform in this community event organised by Newtown Residents Association, Stepacross CIC and Voice FM Radio.

- Agincourt Anniversary Tour, Tudor House, Bugle Street, Southampton, 11am-12.30pm/2pm-3.30pm, Sunday.
To mark the 600th anniversary of the famous battle, Dr Andy Russel is leading a tour to look back on a time when Southampton was full of King Henry V’s troops and a plot against him was formed. Contact 023 8083 4536 for more.

A National Trust event that features no ordinary falconry displays as local bird of prey experts don period costumes to take audiences back to Medieval times for a falconry sports day. Call 01962 771305 for more.
