Couples rescued from bedrooms by firefighters
TWO couples were rescued by firefighters over night after they became trapped in their bedrooms in separate incidents.
Fire crews in Winchester were dispatched at around 3am to Hatherley Road in the city after a couple reported they could not get out of their bedroom as something appeared to have fallen in front of the door.
An hour later in Gosport firefighers turned out to a similar incident at Mayfield Road. There they also found a couple who were unable to get out of their bedroom because the door was jammed.
