A HEARTBROKEN dog owner is terrified that her puppy has been stolen after it was seen being carried away.

Gemma Atkin-Brown is desperately appealing for information after her 15-month-old miniature schnauzer Lola went missing.

The pup disappeared from Wallisdean Avenue in Fareham on Saturday, August 8 and Gemma is urging people to come forward after reports that a couple were spotted carrying Lola away.

Gemma, 32 from Titchfield Park said that a resident in the avenue reported that they had seen a couple in their early 30s pick Lola up and tell a neighbour they would take her to the RSPCA.

But the RSPCA have no reports of Lola being handed in.

Lola, who is microchipped, has now been missing for four weeks and Gemma said her two children are devastated and desperate to have their dog back.

She went missing between midday and 2pm and Lola has a distinctive light streak of hair on the left side of her muzzle.

Daily Echo:

Tom Davies from Fareham Conservatives is backing an appeal to find her, he said: "Her family are desperate to have her home and they miss her so much.

"She must be missing them too. They have had her from a pup and she has not known anyone else.

"Please, if you know someone who may have her get in touch and urge the person who has her to return her safely.

"A generous reward is on offer for information leading to the dog’s safe return and any successful conviction".
