FIREFIGHTERS had to break in to rescue a man in a diabetic coma.
A crew from Fareham was called out by the ambulance service who could not get into a house where a man was unconscious.
The diabetes sufferer had called for help through an alarm just before he fell unconscious.
They smashed a rear door window at the property, off Yew Tree Drive, Whiteley to gain entry at around 2am this morning.
The man was brought round by paramedics.
