TWO men were injured as a car ended up on its side in Hampshire.

Firefighters had to help release the two men from the car which had crashed in Sealark Road, Gosport.

Two fire engines from Gosport Fire Station rushed to the scene of the accident at 12.52am this morning.

After the men were rescued from the vehicle they were put into the care of paramedics from South Central Ambulance Service.

A spokeswoman for South Central Ambulance Service, said that they were called to the accident at 12.48am.

Two ambulances arrived at the scene and the two males who are in their 40's, were taken to Queen Alexander Hospital in Portsmouth where they were checked over and treated for minor injuries.
