POLICE are hunting two motorcyclists in connection with an incident where bikers tore through a Southampton neighbourhood at high speeds.
The pair are thought to be part of a gang of four riders accused of causing “motorcycle nuisance” in the city’s Millbrook area.
Now police are urging residents who recognise the duo to contact them immediately.
Three orange scrambler bikes and one Suzuki bike reported as driving dangerously at excess speed along Wimpson Lane and Kendal Avenue between 11am and 1.30pm on Saturday, police say.
Police rushed to the area but were unable to stop or seize the bikes.
Officers thanked members of the public who reported the incident and PC Simon Peacock said: “We are appealing for information on where these bikes are being kept. Someone must know where these bikes are being stored, either in a house, garden, shed, lock up or garage.
“If we can find out where these vehicles are being stored, we can seize them and remove them from the roads.
Anyone who recognises the riders or the bikes, or has any information should contact police on 101 and quote 44160389770.”
Alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
