The HMS Sultan Summer Show in Gosport aims to raise valuable funds for local and military charities.

The commanding officer of HMS Sultan, Captain Peter Towell, said: “This is my first show as the CO and I am delighted that it provides us with such a fantastic opportunity to engage with the Gosport community and provide a fun day out for the whole family, while at the same time raising funds for local charities and good causes.

“Last year’s summer show was very successful.

“We raised over £25,000 which was donated to local and service charities and good causes and hopefully everyone’s support will enable us to do the same again this year.

“It takes an enormous effort to put on a major event like this and I am very proud of the men and women of HMS Sultan, military and civilian, whose hard work over the last few months has resulted in this action packed, enjoyable show.”
