A NEW £8,000 minibus has been given to a Hampshire charity that helps the poor, sick, elderly and infirm.
The keys to the specially adapted 13-seater minibus were handed to minibus manager Alan Huran by leader of Fareham Borough Council Sean Woodward and Keith Evans, Hampshire County Councillor for Locks Heath and Warsash.
Grants for the charity that takes people shopping, to doctors’ appointments and runs lunch clubs, came from Fareham Borough Council, Hampshire County Council and the Rotary Club of Locks Heath.
The ceremony took place at Sarisbury Green Community Centre.
