Centre could lose sports facilities
SPORTS facilities could be removed from a community centre.
Three tennis courts and a basketball court next to Portchester Community Centre are said to attract antisocial behaviour and are in a poor state of repair.
A new community centre is being built next to the existing one in Westlands Grove and Fareham Borough Council is considering removing the courts as part of that work.
The council’s executive will consider the plans at a meeting today.
