A HOMEOWNER scared off a burglar in Swanwick. The 53-year-old man heard a loud bang upstairs in his house and ran to take a look.
A rear window was open at the property in Swanwick Lane and a man was seen climbing over the garden fence.
Stolen property, including an iPod shuffle, foreign currency and aftershave, was found nearby.
Anyone with information about the burglary, which happened on the evening of Tuesday, June 12, should call Fareham Police on 101.
