Missing sailor Timmy MacColl 'may have been kidnapped by bikers' in Dubai

POLICE investigating the disappearance of a Hampshire sailor in Dubai are said to looking at the possibility he was kidnapped by a biker gang.

Gosport sailor Timmy MacColl was was last seen on May 27.
 

He was caught on CCTV talking to a man in motorcycle leathers outside a bar in the city.

Recently, there have been clashes between motorcycle gangs and police in Dubai.

The sailor's uncle-in-law, Neil Cunningham, said: "Dubai police have confirmed to me they are following up on the bikers. We cannot rule this out. Three or four years ago, there were four Liverpudlians who went missing and it was four or five months before they got in touch. It turned out they had been sold between organised crime gangs."
