PLANS for the “future of Fareham” will be on display at the end of the month.

A total of 25 areas in the borough have been allocated for development in Fareham Borough Council’s draft local plan. The sites could have up to 1,023 new homes built on them.

The homes would be on top of the plans for a new community north of Fareham, where around 7,000 houses will be built.

A consultation on the plan runs until Monday, November 26.

Public exhibitions take place this month at Locks Heath Community Centre on Thursday, October 25 and Friday, October 26, along with Whiteley Primary School on Monday, October 29.
