IT is the new multi-million-pound pub and lodge with rooms.

Now, the Parson’s Collar in Whiteley has a fresh new look following an investment by Daniel Thwaites which now includes the addition of a 54-bed lodge which opened in June.

The pub offers a selection of guest cask ales ranging from 4.9% – 6.9% ABV including Eye Up, Cock and Remember, Remember along with a selection of core beers and ale’s including Concession ale and Thwaites classic.

Alongside this, the Parson's Collar also offers a wide selection of food ranging from pub classics such as hand battered fish and chips, and steak and ale pie while a new Woodfire pizza oven delivers guests high quality pizzas ranging such classic margarita and a hot and spicy.

A stunning new Christmas menu will also see the Whiteley ready for the festive season which includes two courses for £17.95 with dishes ranging from Slow cooked blade of beef to Woodland mushroom and chestnut roast filo pastry.

Since the refit, the pub can also offer a continental breakfast offering for its guests.

Ben Cutting, manager of Parson’s Collar Pub & Kitchen, who has been at the helm for two years, said: “We are a community pub with a difference.

“Since the refit, the atmosphere is much more dynamic and welcoming, we have a well-established team that has been here for a long time, most of whom live locally.

“Our highlight for the food is our Woodfire Pizza oven, we also a strong bunch of regular customers along with guests at the lodge.

“We also a Sky and BT sport offering so fans can come and watch some of the big matches.”

The Parson’s Collar opens at 7am for breakfast and stays open until 11pm seven days a week.
