Woman found dead in bath named by police
POLICE have named the woman found dead at her Hampshire home.
The body of Alexa Gardner, 56, is understood to have been discovered in a bath at her detached house in North Street, Pennington.
Police say the grim discovery was made by a friend.
Detectives launched an investigation but police have since confirmed that the death is not being treated as suspicious.
Mrs Gardner, described by neighbours as “a lovely person”, is understood to have had a daughter at university.
The coroner has been informed and an inquest will be held.
