Polish anglers sign up to pledge Polish anglers sign up to pledge

THE Polish Anglers Association has promised to translate the rules of any angling club as a contribution towards integration with British anglers.

The idea came from the Angling Trust’s Building Bridges officer Rado Papiewski and his colleague Pawel Nycz and was welcomed by the organisation.

Rado said: “Hopefully by getting club rules translated into Polish, future problems will be more easily solved and our communities can jointly enjoy the great sport of angling without friction.”

The Polish Anglers Association was established in the UK a few months ago by seven anglers from Poland including Rado and Pawel.

Thought the Poles had netted the lakes for dinner..............
hence all the signs in polish already in place roughly translated as "no nicking the carp to eat"

Great idea but if they are seeking integration wouldn't it be preferable to promote learning English rather than offer translations?

Who from the club is going to check the translation?

True but then you also have to remember, learning a new language without help is hard and getting help from a tutor, company or school of English is expensive.
