Civic chiefs have approved plans to transform an "eyesore" property in a Hampshire village.
An application to convert a former shop in The Lane, Fawley, into a house was given the go-ahead at a meeting of the district council's planning committee.
The scheme involves the demolition of the former shopfront.
Cllr Bob Wappet, who represents the Fawley area, said: "Removing this eyesore and changing it into something more attractive will benefit the village."
