A MAN who was battling several health problems was found dead by his friends at his Hampshire home, an inquest heard.
Peter Gregory, from Brockenhurst, was discovered on the floor by his bed having fallen and hit his head, which caused extensive bleeding on the brain.
The 62-year-old, who had cancer and heart problems, was taken to Southampton General Hospital but his injuries were so severe that nothing could be done and he died on December 18.
Southampton coroner Keith Wiseman ruled that the cause of death for Mr Gregory, of Auckland Place, was accidental.
