POLICE are searching for a Hampshire mother who has gone missing.

Hampshire Police say they are growing increasingly concerned for the safety of 38-year-old Kelly Garrett from Hythe.

The alarm was raised when Ms Garrett failed to pick her son up from Hythe Primary School yesterday afternoon .

She was last seen when she dropped him off that same morning.

Ms Garrett did not tell anyone she would not be picking up her child and has left her keys and phone at home.

Police say Ms Garrett's family is worried because her disappearance is out of character, although she has been upset recently.

When last seen she was wearing light coloured, possibly white leggings or skinny jeans, a bright coloured top and was carrying a beige shoulder bag.

Her hair has recently changed and is described as a bob style in a vibrant red colour.

Anyone who has seen Ms Garrett or has information is asked to call Inspector Phil Lamb at Southampton Central police on 101 quoting 44140233579.

Alternatively you can give information anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
