MOTORISTS are again facing delays on one of Hampshire's busiest commuter routes after a two-vehicle crash.

Police were called to the scene of the crash on the westbound carriageway of the A31 at Poulner Hill, near Ringwood, at 7.51am.

A Hampshire Constabulary spokeswoman warned that there would be delays due to traffic congestion.

The road was finally cleared shortly after 9am.

The crash is the fourth on the A31 within a week, after a car blocked the road at the same section on Thursday morning.

Two vehicles collided on the eastbound side of the road near Stoney Cross at about 6am on Monday, while on Sunday a Vauxhall Corsa overturned on the same stretch of road at about 1pm.

Anyone with information on this morning's crash is asked to contact Hampshire Constabulary on 101.
