MOTORISTS can expect delays on a busy Hampshire route after a fault at a level crossing.
The B3054 Bridge Road in Lymington is reportedly blocked due to crossing barriers becoming stuck and unable to be raised.
Engineers were called to the site when the problem was reported at 6.40am.
They are manually raising the barriers to enable traffic through while trying to fix it.
It is causing queues in both directions and motorists are being urged to avoid the area.
Train services are running as normal.
A Network Rail spokesman said crews are working to correct the problem as quickly as possible and added: “We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
“We had engineers on site as quickly as we could and we are working to keep trains and road traffic moving.”
