IT’S the perfect pick-me-up that will ensure you are stepping into Spring in style.

As the weather warms up and the summer wardrobe starts to get an airing it’s just you and you’re skin that need to feel lifted and feel ready to embrace the sunshine.

And what better way to wipe out the dullness of winter and banish all the stress than by treating yourself to the ultimate day of serenity and pure relaxation.

The real advantage for Hampshire residents is that there is no need to look very far, as all this can be found in the New Forest which is home to the award-winning Senspa offering a perfect pampering day to suit all.

The spa, based at Carey’s Manor hotel, has launched its Spring Soother Spa Day and is promising guests a day of pure bliss.

Today we are offering one lucky Daily Echo reader will be getting a chance to try it out for free As well as use of the facilities, you can also sample one of a number of classes running in the studio or pool.

Daily Echo:

Alongside aqua-aerobics guests can enjoy the relation of a yoga and tai-chi session where the focus is very much on pressing your relaxation buttons.

There’s also the chance to make use of gym facilities to burn off the calories from a delicious Thai feast of a lunch at the Zen Garden Restaurant.

Each day the chef serves some of their favourite dishes from the popular menu which is served buffet style, allowing guests to return as many times as they like to indulge in the array of starters, main courses and desserts.

It’s a promise that will not be broken as I found out when I popped along to sample the delights of the Spring Soother Spa Day – the latest addition to an array of tailor-made spa days on offer at the Brockenhurst spa - with a friend.

After a warm welcome from the staff and a light breakfast we enjoyed a dip in the pool before trying out each and every one of the hydrotherapy areas and sampling the variety of experience showers – a treat which should not be missed.

If a sauna or steam room is your thing, there are plenty to choose from all offering a different experience but all equally indulgent.

You can also quite happily while away the hours on a warmed bed or enjoy the peace and quiet whilst getting stuck into a good book while snuggled up in the relaxation room.

But the highlight of my day was most definitely the hour spent enjoying an essential relaxation massage which left me feeling thoroughly pampered.

Hardly a square inch was missed as my therapist soothed away knotted muscles and eased tension from my top to my toes.

The 60-minute long treatment was among the best I have ever enjoyed and left me feeling as if my body had received a well overdue MoT.

Using essential oils and incredible pressure on my shoulders and back, the therapist massaged away my aches and pains and left me in no doubt this was going to have to become a regular experience.
