On einjured in house fire
A KITCHEN fire in the early hours of the morning left one person injured.
The blaze occurred in Totton’s Portal Road with crews from Totton and Redbridge called out at 1.32am this morning to a house fire involving the kitchen.
Using two breathing apparatus, one hosereel, a covering jet and positive pressure ventilation, the firefighters spent almost and hour and a half extinguishing the fire, finishing at 2.56am.
Firefighters rushed to the semi-detached property in Portal Road and one casualty was involved in the fire and was treated by ambulance crews who also attended.
