A MAN was assaulted after he refused to hand over his drink of milk.

The 44-year-old victim was walking alone through an underpass when he saw two men.

One of them approached the man and asked for the bottle of milk he was carrying.

He refused to hand it over and was then punched twice in the face before the attacker fled empty handed.

The victim was left with a black-eye following the assault.

The attacker is described as being white, 5ft 10, in his late teens/early 20s, and of a slim build.

He had short blonde hair on top and a crew cut on the side which was "light brown".

He was wearing a faded dark blue jumper, with a yellow bird logo on the left side of his chest.

The incident happened on April 3 at 6.20pm, at the junction of Wellworthy and Ampress Lane in Lymington and police have today released an efit of the attacker.
