WHERE in the world could you find a Roman invasion, Henry VIII and two women dressed as post boxes?
Copythorne Parade, that's where.
Hundreds of families dressed up for a day of fun in the New Forest, with games, costumes and attractions.
The annual procession was as colourful as ever, with floats carrying dozens of excited children in costume.
Get-ups included Roman warriors, English crusaders, sailors and animals.
Many also used the occasion to celebrate the Queen's 90th birthday, with royal faces plastered on the floats and one pair opting for bright red postbox costumes.
There were also vintage engines on display and plenty of beer for the grown-ups.
